Plan a Visit

Welcome! Here is some helpful information about what to expect when you visit on a Sunday.

  • Services start at 10:00 a.m. and generally last just over an hour, followed by time to chat and make new friends over a free barista-made coffee or tea.

Any changes to service times will be notified on our home page.

  • Car parking is available behind and to the side of the church, accessible from both Sturt and Marion Roads.

  • Signs lead you to the entrance.

Our welcoming team are the friendly people who will greet you in the carpark or at the front door. They're there to help you find your way around our building facilities and answer any questions you may have.

Our building is air-conditioned and equipped with a lift for access to the upper floor or mezzanine if required.

  • The people in our church are committed to welcoming you as you are, without conditions or expectations and you are free to join us as a participant or an observer.

We begin our worship of God by singing songs of praise together! The words for our songs will be up on a big screen if you'd like to join in or follow along.

After we sing, someone will share whole church announcements to let everyone know about weekly events and other matters of interest in our church.

Leaders pray expressing thankfulness to God for his kindness towards us and make requests on behalf of the church and those connected with us. We will often pray for the local community, our state or country.

Financial giving will be mentioned but you shouldn’t feel pressured to give money at this church, as we believe that giving to God’s work is a private matter between each person and God.

After this, the children (3 years and up) are invited to follow our trained Kids Church teachers to Kids Church. This is a child-safe time of learning about the Bible and God through stories, craft and other fun activities. See more below.

Each Sunday a passage from the Bible is read and one of the church leaders will spend some time talking about its meaning and relevance to daily life and our relationship with God.

If you need prayer after the church service is finished or you have some questions about what you've heard, you are welcome to reach out by engaging with someone who was involved in leading the morning or approaching our “Welcome Desk” which is situated at the entrance door, just beyond the Coffee Area as you leave the building.

It is our hope and prayer that you will find Cityreach Marion to be an inviting place to belong.

  • Children are welcomed into the Kids Church after our time of singing, and just before the scripture reading and preaching.

We have a full children’s program, with trained and police-checked volunteers. If you intend to send your children to the program, please sign them in and out, as directed.

We also occasionally have a kid’s story during the church service. The children are then invited to come to the front to listen with their parents before heading out to Kids Church.

Child Safe Note that Cityreach has a Child Safe Environment Policy which is available here.
